Chopta has many meadows in the region which are perfect for camping and earlier camping was very popular in Chopta, Burjgali, Baniyakund, Duggalbita and in Deoriatal.
Camping in Chopta is one of the best way to explore the region which is full of adventure. For adventure seekers and nature lovers camping is a good way to enjoy its tranquility, greenery and beautiful panoramic scenic view of snow clad Himalayan peaks.
With the order of High Court, there as has been ban in camping in meadows which includes the meadows of Chopta as well, so till further notice dome tent camping is not possible. But you can stay in Swiss Camps in Chopta.
Chopta Forest Fees/Entry Fees: This region is a reserve forest area. So there is an entry pass to be made at the start where a forest guard sits. If you take once, you can use it for the entire destination in Kedar Valley Bio Reserve Destinations.
